You either love it or you hate it, but there is no denying that if you don’t work in your business, you aren’t going to be successful – ever!
Why Work is a Four Letter Word.
Work is a word that conjures up images of blood, sweat, and tears. You can’t do it without spending massive amounts of energy or dedicating your time to it. Work requires personal and professional sacrifices to be made; sacrifices we sometimes don’t want to do but that’s necessary for yielding fruit from our efforts. Work means you have to get dirty.
Building a Business ALWAYS Requires Work
Talking with people who want to become entrepreneurs is always refreshing. I love the passion and fire that they exude. It’s invigorating to blaze your own trail and to take hold of your own destiny! Who does’t want to live life by their own rules? Sadly, many of the aspiring business owners I visit with have great motives but have no true motivation. I really don’t mean to sound harsh, but unless you are willing to actually put forth the dedicated effort into building a business, you will never succeed.
Work Requires Daily Effort
You simply cannot sit around and wait for your business to take off. You can’t just sign up for a direct sales business and hope it builds itself. You can’t just get great training or online lessons and think clients will come to you. You can’t just launch an e-commerce website with your new product and expect sales to come in. You have to make daily, concentrated efforts to find customers, make sales, and get in front of people with your ideas. Ultimately you have to put in the work (see above) to achieve your goals. And you must realize that
sometimes it takes a while to see any results.
Want Results? Get to Work!
If you are ready to get the results you want from your new (or old) business, then make sure you are putting in the daily work to make it happen. And while hard work doesn’t always guarantee you will find the gold at the end of the rainbow, you will definitely never discover the gold without sacrificing the time and energy to get to it.
Just my two cents for today.
